Alexandre Burton, Julien Roy and Jimmy Lakatos are three artists based in montreal and operating in the new media realm. As the artificiel group, they generalize their implication in order to put forward works that go beyond the boundaries of their specialities. Their works have been shown in art festival and galleries such as: Sonar (Barcelona and Sao Paolo), ArsElectronica (Linz ,AU), Mus. of Contemporary Arts (Montréal), and others...

They are mostly known for the condemned_bulbes project (an installation/performance of giant lightbulbs which was awarded an honorary mention at Ars Electronica 2005), and "Circulation" (a contemplative work of sound, plexiglas and video). Their latest work "Cubing", an audiovisual performance, is currently touring.
